This blog is documenting the 2016 growing season of a giant pumpkin in Georgetown, Maine. Join in the celebration of genetics and outrageously large gourds as I learn how this is done. My hope is for this pumpkin to be donated to the Damariscotta Pumpkin Fest, October 8-9, for the purpose of a pumpkin boat, sculpture, or display.
